In 1981, 8 young men came together and founded The Kansas City Swingers Golf Association. The founding members are Charlie Jackson, Jim Randle, Al Donahue, Simon Cole, Kermit Hamilton, Floyd Mathews, Harvey Phelps, and Eddie Qualls.
